Curious Incident of the Dog in the night time: Christoper Boone is an autistic boy who is a mathematical genius but cannot understand the emotional aspect of human life.He can think logically and solve complex problems but finds it difficult to connect emotionally to any human being. Christopher lives his life by following a set of rules some of which he came up with on his own and the other with the help of his tutor.He is accused of murdering a dog in the neighborhood and takes it upon himself to solve the mystery by following the lead of Sherlock Holmes. In the process of solving the mystery, Chris finds out more about his dead mother and the relationship between his mom and dad. The book is relatively short compared to other novels I have read in recent times and the language used is simple. The book is written from Christophers point of view and the author does of a brilliant job of explaining the world as Christopher sees it.By getting into the mind of Christopher, the author also does a very good job of portraying the problems that children with autism face. I could not find any significant flaws in this book. Rating:3.6/4.0
