NIce Advise from a friend

I just remembered one of my friend Rejindher's(not his real name) advise on how to succeed in research. His views were: To succeed in academia you need to have atleast two out of the three characteristics: (i) Brilliant (ii) Hardworking (iii) Likeable. I came to appreciate your quotes yesterday when I was thinking about it. Thanks for the advise, buddy!!!. Coz I know for me there are 2 out of the 3 which I can control and I'll start working on those from now on.
